Jesus loves to gift us with opportunities to experience Him more fully in the big gifts and the small ones. Just look around at His creation. Hold out your hands to receive His body and blood. Look at the food on your table. Enjoy the listening ears of a friend. Jesus is giving you these experiences.
Jesus invites us to help others experience that same love, grace and mercy too. But I don't know what to do or how to serve...? I'm tired! I'm not sure my giftedness is useful? Good news! Out of our scarcity, by just giving our lives to God, comes an abundance that can feed and bless thousands. Jesus still works miracles today!
Read Luke 9:10-17 as a devotional time this weekend and bring your Bible Sunday so we might dive into the story that is known by most as "the feeding of the five thousand."
My prayer for you: I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people (Ephesians 1:18).
